Event Description

Mark your calendars for Monday, February 21st!

Join Siri and Bek as they celebrate Siri's 2nd year anniversary of her transplant. What other way would a World Champion want to celebrate such a memorable day? To make it even more special, they're extending the invitation to family, friends, teammates, and followers to join virtually from anywhere in the World for a 10K or 5K run. (We're calling it a run, but you can walk, hike, swim, etc.)

Last year, on Siri's first anniversary, we had over 175 participants join her in celebrating that momentous day!!!! We know we can easily crush that number this February!!! This run can be completed from anywhere and at any time on February 21st!

For those of you who don't know Siri's survival story here is a little background.
At the beginning of 2020, Siri was diagnosed with AML, Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Fortunately, Siri was accepted into a clinical trial in Colorado on December 9, 2020. Her body responded really well to the treatments, and she was given the green light to move forward to what would be her life-saving stem cell bone marrow transplant on February 21, 2020. Fast forward to January 3, 2021, Siri was and still is CANCER FREE thanks to her amazing team of doctors, sister Lisa, donor, wife Bek & everyone else in her corner!!!!!

Participation in this celebratory event is FREE, but if you're able and inclined to make a donation to their very own non-profit, Believe Ranch and Rescue or to The Leukemia & Lymphoma please feel free to do so.

Siri and Bek are the founders and owners of Believe Ranch and Rescue, a non-profit driven to end horse slaughter in the US.
Together they have rescued more than 175 horses from abuse and neglect giving them love, medical care, training, and a second chance they so deserve. Restoring their love and trust in humankind, and finding them safe, loving, and permanent forever homes. These rescue horses then go on to transform the lives of their adoptive families. Siri attributes a great deal of her healing over the past year to her horses and other animals, that have reciprocated all the love and compassion that she has given them. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a 501 charitable organization founded in 1949, is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting blood cancer in the world. The LLS's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
