Event Description

Our annual Rajin' Cajun race in our small, rural hometown of Glennville, Ga is in memory of our dad, Jeff Armstrong and brother, Jacob Armstrong.  Originally from Louisiana, we enjoyed the Mardi Gras holiday and parade.  The costumes, food, parade and celebrations bring back fond memoriels of our time in Louisiana.  As a way of giving back to the community that my dad loved so much, we have decided to raise money through sponsorships and your participation in this race and the funds will go to local elementary schools, allowing each school to fulfill the needs of their student population how they see fit.  The race is Mardi Gras themed so it makes for a fun and festive time, all for a good cause!

Location: Southern Medical Group, Glennville, Ga 

Time: 8 AM (arrive at 7:30 AM to receive race packet and shirt/bag)

Parking: SMG or Georgia Eye Center office next door

Wear: Mardi Gras colors and costumes
