Quarantine protocols for many colleges prohibited many students from participating in our February Run for the Refugees. Because of this we created a special college edition of the Run for Refugees (March 1-15) to allow students to participate in this important fundraising event.
Join IRIS’ first ever, virtual Run for Refugees. Run, walk, or bike 5k in your neighborhood, around your school, on a treadmill, or wherever you can be socially distant. Run with your roomates, teammates, friends and classmates!
Your registration and fundraising for our annual 5k provides refugees and immigrants with vital services such as housing, healthcare, job placement, education, and much more.
In 2020, IRIS worked with over 1,500 refugees and immigrants, provided $200,000 in rental assistance, taught students English, art, and music, virtually and fed 300+ families per week with essential groceries from our food pantry.

T-Shirt and Race Bib
All registrations come with our iconic Run for Refugees T-shirt. We want to see you rock your Run for Refugees gear on your school campuses! Tag us in your photos and videos and we’ll feature you on social media. All participants will receive a Run for Refugees race bib.
Shirts and bibs will be mailed to all participating students. PLEASE USE THE MAILING ADDRESS OF WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR SHIRT MAILED.
