Event Description

Come out to the first ever Great Futures of WInder-Barrow 5K.  It will be held at the Peoples Equity Building in Winder, GA.  Race benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Winder-Barrow.

If you don't feel comfortable running in a crowd, you can run at home or anywhere you feel safe.  Please submit your time before noon on March 21st to http://tiny.cc/21GreatFutures5KTimes.  At home runners will not receive awards and will be placed at the back of their respective age groups for BBRS points.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 1:30PM

5K: Starts at 3PM

Awards: Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female and Grand Masters Male and Female, and 3 deep in standard age group from 10 and under to 75 and Over. 

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classiconestop.com, www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 3/11/21. Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size. There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2021 Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds.
