Event Description

Join us in Culver, a strong patriotic community where the American flag flies proudly all year long on many front porches, for the Waves of Freedom 5k run and walk along the shores of beautiful Lake Maxinkuckee.

Each participant will receive a day worth remembering, starting with our American flag RaceDay shirts and medals.  Great music, free hot dogs and root beer from Culver’s Original Root Stand, tons of swag, and a jump in the lake (if you want) after your race is complete.

Spend the day in Culver and enjoy our Lake Festival vendors, kids’ amusement rides, parade, car show, restaurants, kayaking, and swimming at the town beach.  Spectacular fireworks on the lake cap off your day, with plenty of space to spread out on the grass in the park with family and friends.
