Climb to the Clouds Everesting - one of the ultimate endurance challenges!

The idea behind Everesting couldn’t be much simpler: cycle up and down a hill until you’ve tallied 29,029 feet of ascent – the height of Mount Everest. The reality is a relentless endurance battle that'll push you to your physical and mental limits. This event supports SHIP of Frederick County's mission to end youth homelessness in Maryland. 

This year’s Maryland Endurance Challenge begins on Saturday, May 8th with the inaugural Climb To The Clouds Everesting ride. Riders will be treated to a beautiful 1.7 mile climb and descent through Gambrill State Park overlooking the City of Frederick to the east, and South Mountain and the Appalachian Trail to the west. Riders will have one of three options that day – ride the elevation equivalent of Japan's Mt. Fuji, Alaska's Denali (Mt. McKinley), or the ultimate, Mount Everest.
