Event Description
SevenDays® Kindness Walk will be completely virtual in April of 2021. That means you have control of your walk! You can walk in your own neighborhood, at a local park or anywhere you feel comfortable. Our past Kindness Walks have been about 1.3 miles. Feel free to walk the same distance or any other distance that suits you! Even though we are virtual on April 25th, we want to hear from you! Where are you walking? Who are you walking with? Post photos, videos, your kindness intentions, and/or your Onward commitment to @GiveSevenDays with the hashtags #GiveSevenDays and #BeTheRipple. We want to show how far our ripple is reaching!
Who: We want you...and your family/friends! Register yourself for the SevenDays® Seventh Anniversary Kindness Walk. Consider making a ripple of kindness by also registering a friend or family member in another city, state or even country! Your participation will help us spread kindness in 2021!
What: It’s our Kindness walk of course! Walk with whom and where you feel safe and comfortable. You can walk virtually with us through our Facebook page, @GiveSevenDays! We will go "live" throughout the day, highlighting friends walking around the country and abroad. Remember to focus on your personal Onward. Take the opportunity to think about and discuss with your people what your Onward will be...how will you spread kindness in the future?
When: Register by March 15th which guarantees you will receive your Kindness Walk Packet by April 12. Our Kindness Walk Packet is really awesome! Why do you want your packet by April 12th? We want you to wear your totally awesome Kindness Walk t-shirt when you virtually attend our planned 7th anniversary of SevenDays®, beginning on April 13th. Our virtual Kindness Walk is on April 25th , marking the end of our 7th year of SevenDays®. As a registered participant you will receive an email with our virtual program the morning of April 25th. It will get you pumped and ready to walk kindly!
Where: While we will miss seeing you in person, we are doing our part to keep us as safe as possible by hosting our Kindness Walk virtually.
Why: Well, you know why...to spread kindness! Together, we can turn 2021 into the year of kindness. While you are on your walk, consider your personal Onward that will make a difference for you, your family and friends. As importantly, consider 'others'. How can YOU make a ripple of kindness in the life of someone you don't know? Share your kindness and see the ripples spread far and wide!
