Event Description
Viking Obstacle Race Ragnarok Trials
Location: Obstacle Wonderland, Wallkill NY
Solo and Team (4 people, 2 male / 2 female)
Solo: $125. Team:$500
Sat July 24th-25th onsite camping included with your entry
3 hrs of volunteering required per entrant during event or $25 additional fee per participants who do not wish to volunteer during event.
*Solo division entrants registration includes 1 pit crew, 2nd pit crew allowed for free if 6 hrs of total volunteer time performed by pit crew members.

Come and setup camp along with everyone else, have access to the obstacles during the opening trail sessions, participate in the night trail segment to earn the Special Glow in the dark Viking Night Trail medal and your trade out is 5 hours of volunteering during the Midnight Madness and Morning OCR segments.
we'll have a bunch of activities and games to join in as well for all participants while not on course.
Schedule of events:
2pm-8pm
Trail Laps-
Team Relay Format / Solo loop requirement minimum
At hour 2 & hour 4 mark a required challenge will be completed
9pm-11pm
Night Trail loop.
All team members go out and must stay together w/ a team weight to take with.
Solo runners as many laps as possible.
12am-5am
Midnight Madness Obstacle segment
Team: 1 member of each team has 15 minutes to do as many obstacles as they can in the field, each completion earns a mark. Every 15 minutes there will be a horn and you hand off the scorecard to another teammate until all 4 members have gone.
*Half the teams will go on segment 1 while the other teams are positioned at the obstacles to issue completion marks.
Segment 2, teams will switch roles for the next hour.
There will be 4 segements with each team going twice.
Solo: participants will have 4 individual hour long segments to earn as many completion marks as possible.
During each segment, team members not tagged in yet will be completing laps around the obstacle field and their mileage will be added to the teams total. Lap mileage is added along with a specified mileage per completion rate (for every 5 completion marks you earn .25 miles towards the team/ solo division overall mileage)
6-10am Final Battle
All participants will be on a single loop course with obstacles included on each lap. All mileage counts along with obstacle completion mileage perks.
Winners determined by total mileage completed.
Finisher Medal, T-Shirt, Race Jersey all included!!
