Log your miles -May 15 through August 15, 2021
 
Support the good work of Together for Hope (TFH) and the Together for Hope partner or friend of your choice. Walk, run, ride or swim (or paddle, row, hike, trail run, or other), in your own place, at your own pace, May 15-August 15. Set a goal and get moving this summer and earn a really cool t-shirt. Take as many days as you need as long as you finish by August 15, 2021. Log your miles each week on the Runsignup website. Register by July 15 to get the cool t-shirt. Many ways to Move: You can track your overall miles and miles per event (walk, run, ride, swim, paddle/row, trail hike, trail run, other). You will receive notifications when you reach a variety of milestone distances.

Registration: The cost is $30 which includes a $10 donation to the TFH friend of your choice. See the list of options here [Friends of Together for Hope]. You will have an opportunity to make the donation at registration. All proceeds from the remaining $20 (after the cost of the t-shirt and mailing) go directly to Together for Hope for poverty alleviation in the 301 counties of persistent poverty in the United States.

50 mile Challenge: A separate event for children, families, churches, and groups. Participate as a team or an individual for the 50 mile challenge and receive a cool personalized finisher’s medal. A customizable tracking form is provided for kids to log their miles. Cost for this event is $15 which includes a $5 donation to the TFH friend of your choice. All proceeds from the remaining $10 (after the cost of the medal and mailing) go directly to Together for Hope for poverty alleviation in the 301 counties of persistent poverty in the United States. Participate as an organization, church, family, friends, by yourself, or anyway you like. The team captain has the option of registering for some or all of the team. Groups of 5 or more receive a $3 per participant discount, if registered as a member of the group and all medals are mailed to the same address.

Together for Hope is Transforming Rural America: Together for Hope is a rural development coalition engaging the 301 counties of persistent rural poverty in America, divided into five regions: Appalachia, Delta, Black Belt, Rio Grande Valley, and Native Lands. We believe asset-based community development is the best first step in fighting poverty in rural space. To that end, we work with communities in order to hear their dreams and begin to take steps toward those visions. Within these communities, Together for Hope holistically fights poverty focusing on four priorities of hope: Education, Health & Nutrition, Housing & Environment, and Social Enterprise.
 
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

What Does Virtual Mean?
You walk, run, ride, or swim wherever and whenever you want (or paddle, row, hike, trail run, or other). In a virtual run you complete the mileage in your hometown or the area of your choice. The miles can be completed on multiple days, whenever you want as long as you finish by August 15, 2022.

T-Shirt Design
Our awesome t-shirt is designed and printed printed by one of Together for Hope partners in one of our Together for Hope counties, so you are supporting the local economy. Register by July 15 to get the t-shirt. Shirts will be mailed after August 15.

Log Your Miles
Share your miles once a week or as often as you like and the results will be posted on Runsignup. You will be sent information on how to log your miles.

Log Your Miles Follow Your Progress
Log your miles and follow your progress toward your goals on the Runsignup website. Set your own goals. Virtual badges will be awarded when you reach certain milestones. Get there anyway you can. You can track your overall miles and miles per event (walk, run, ride, swim, paddle/row, trail hike, trail run, other).
