Here’s your chance to help shape up the finances at Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) at the same time you’re shaping up for summer!

We invite you to join us and show the world your support for HBCUs and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs) by walking, running or riding as many miles as you can during the month of May. You’ll be in great company with thousands of other community-minded fitness enthusiasts, couch potatoes, and endurance athletes who want to get up, speak up and get moving in order to make a positive difference.

With your registration, you’ll receive a cool and comfortable HBCU FundFest participant t-shirt and a one-of-a-kind finisher’s medal in the form of a brilliantly blingy “HBCU Class Ring” (These will be collector’s items, so don’t miss year-one!). You’ll also get a virtual race bib, finisher’s certificate and “goodie bag” from our sponsors!

The events of 2020 put a significant strain on the funding for all schools, but especially for Black Colleges, and in 2021 the need has never been greater. To help spread the love (and the funding) we encourage you to invite your friends, family, and co-workers to join in the fun!

Proceeds for this event will go directly to our charity partner, Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), who will distribute the funds, plus all private and corporate donations, to the HBCU community based on their professional assessment of the greatest needs.
