Event Description:

We are bringing back the Mini Sprint Triathlon at PMRF.  The only thing is that we are changing up the senery.  This event will start at the Waimea Pool where you will swim 500 yards.  Then you will bike from Waimea to PMRF, which is 7.1 miles.  You will do a 3 mile run on base, then hop back on your bike and bike back to Waimea Pool to finish.  

The Course (See Course Map below):

Start: Waimea Swimming Pool

Hop on your bike & Head west on Kamualii Hwy

Take a left at the south gate entrance to PMRF

Leave your bikes at the Gate parking lot

Run towards the 4 way stop on Tartar Drive

Take a right on Nohili Rd towards Major's Bay

Take a Left onto Major's Bay Road

Take a left towards the pavilions and proceed down Waiokapua Trail

Exit the trail, and cross the street and take a left onto Polaris Drive

Go straight at the 4-way stop onto Tartar Drive to head back out to your bikes

Hop back onto your bikes and head back to Waimea Pool to finish

The event will be starting in Heats every 20 minutes, with 6 people max per heat.

Registration at Waimea Pool will begin at 700

Parking available around pool driveway and behind pool/waimea high school gym

*It is required for patrons ages 18 years and older to present a valid Government issued ID to access the PMRF Naval Base.  

Event Check-in from 0700-0750

Event Check in will occur at the Waimea Swimming Pool.  Participants will pick up registration packets and obtain general information about the triathlon

What do I need to bring?

Please bring your confirmation receipt and a Government issued ID on the day of registration.

Pets, outside food and beverages, coolers, weapons and contraband are NOT permitted.
