Event Description
Proceeds from The Eagles Fly 5K go directly to support the Fleming Island High School Track Team and their dream of improving their track facilities and building an All-Weather Track.
50% of proceeds from Maddi's Mile will go to support suicide helplines, prevention, and awareness and the remaining 50% of proceeds will go directly to support the Fleming Island High School Track Team and their dream of improving their track facilities and building an All-Weather Track.

Awards
Awards will be presented to the top three men and women overall, first master’s male and female overall, and the top three in each of the following male and female age groups: 10 & under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80+. Awards will also be given to Teams with the most participants in the following categories: Elementary School, High School, Middle School and Organization.
Packet Pickup
Packets will be available at the race site pickup beginning at 7:00 AM on Raceday.
Race Timing
The race will be timed using the bib chip.
Event details and schedule
Due to the world we live in today, please read the following guidelines:
Face masks will be required for all participants (runners), volunteers and spectators. Runners can remove their mask while they are running.
Sanitation
- There will be several “sanitation” stations located throughout the registration, start/finish and restroom areas.
- Sanitation supplies (antiviral spray etc.) will be available to sanitize registration/awards and restroom areas
- All registration personnel will wear gloves and mask
- If you are feeling ill or have COVID-19 symptons, please stay home. Sorry, no refunds.
