Event Description

Join us for our VIRTUAL 5K that will take place the week of May 17th-23rd to raise money for our adoption! We are so excited to be growing our family through adoption and we are looking forward to running with you all to make this possible!

Now grab a friend, family member, kiddo or doggo and join us as we run, walk, or couch surf through this 5K together! The more people who sign up together, the less the cost of registration! Since this is a virtual event you can complete it at your favorite location on your own time during race week. We recommend the Racejoy app because if you use this it will submit your results for you! Or you can use something like Strava or another GPS app to track your time and submit it yourself!

ALL participants can download a digital bib that will be uploaded to the facebook site before the race so make sure to print it out and snap a picture with it! (If you are unable to download the bib we can let us know and we will email you a copy). T-shirts will be provided to those who register by April 23rd @ 11:59pm EST, so make sure to register soon! (t-shirts cannot be shipped internationally)

1st place medals will be given out to the fastest runners in the following 4 categories: 

• -Females 29 and under
• -Females 30 and over
• -Males 29 and under
• -Males 30 and over

When you finish, upload your results onto the website under the ‘Results’ tab so we can celebrate you! Then SHARE your post run/walk/couch surfing accomplishment photo on Facebook and/or Instagram using #MayhewRun4Adoption5k and tagging @tirzah_anne.

All donations from our Run 4 Adoption 5K (minus the 4% fee charged by the site for helping us run the event) will be submitted toward the matching grant we recently received!
