Event Description
Cia Siab, Inc. is excited to host our first annual Khiav Rau Cia Siab Virtual 5K Run/Walk fundraiser to celebrate of Hmoob American Day on Friday May 14th, 2021. Sign up, get out doors, rock this year's t-shirts designed by Ceev Tseg Press (a local Hmoob print artist), and celebrate Hmoob resiliency, healing, and love!
In addition, we will be having a week-long celebration leading up to this run/walk. Like/follow us on Facebook to see what fun activities we have planned for the week of May 10th - 14th.
Race Information & Registration
Due to the precautionary measures regarding social distancing surrounding COVID-19, the run/walk will be virtual. What does this mean?! This means you can participate wherever you are on May 14th!
You can register as an individual or a team of 4-6 people. Registration cost per participant is $30 ($25.98 Race Fee + $2.51 SignUp Fee). All participants who register by Wednesday May 5th, 2021 will receive the race shirt by race day. The race t-shirt is available in sizes Adult S through Adult 2XLarge. In the event that our shirts are all sold out, you will receive a t-shirt that will arrive after race day. We can't wait to see you all rock these shirts! Your fundraisers and donations will directly support our advocacy and prevention work at Cia Siab, Inc. to build a healthy and empowering vibrant Hmoob community. At Cia Siab, Inc., we provide culturally appropriate programs and services for Hmoob women and girls, youth, LGBTQ+ folx, elders, and the Hmoob community. Your donations make it possible for us to continue providing advocacy services to the Hmoob community in La Crosse, WI. Check out our website to learn about our programs and services!
We encourage individuals to fundraise $50 and teams of 4-6 to aim to raise $200. The top individual and the top team fundraisers will receive special prizes for their hard work. These prizes have yet to be announced!
