Join V.I.R.T.U.E. Inc. for its 2021 Women In Pink Celebration in recognition of breast cancer awareness!
Engagements will include our annual Run with VIRTUE virtual 5k race, artist-inspired merchandise, healthy cooking demonstrations, simple workout tips and more! The celebrations will give individuals an opportunity to recognize survivors, as well as donate in support of breast cancer research and program development. Our focus is to have the message of women's health and empowerment ring loudly!

Run with V.I.R.T.U.E. 5K
At 3.1 miles, the virtual race can be run, walked and/or jogged from anywhere! The race is ideal for anyone who wants to get active while staying socially distant. You set your own pace and time. You can also choose to join with thousands of others on Race Day, Saturday, Oct. 9th from 7am - 12pm. Participants may complete the race at any time between Sunday, Oct. 3rd - Saturday, Oct. 9th. All times must be posted to Run with V.I.R.T.U.E. by Saturday, Oct. 9th, no later than 12pm CST.
The event will help raise funds to support medical advancements in breast cancer research and treatments. Treatments will aid in the quality of life locally, as well as globally. This includes immediate needs such as transportation to and from treatment, as well as, lodging for those that need to travel for treatment, etc.
If you are located in Birmingham, AL, feel free to take advantage of the green spaces located at Railroad Park, Vulcan Park, Lakeshore Trail, Ross Bridge or Oak Mountain.
Please Keep in Mind:
- All participants must upload their race time no later than Saturday, Oct. 9th at 12pm.
- Winners will be announced at 2pm CST on Saturday, Oct. 9th.
*Swag items will be mailed if located outside of Alabama.
