Event Description

JOIN our 2nd Virtual 5K Run/Walk in celebration of the YMCA’s 177th Birthday! 

Participants can choose a Fun Run/Walk (1 Mile) or a 5K. Run, walk, stroll or roll! Everyone can participate whether you’re training for another race or just want to walk a little further.

Please complete your Run/Walk between Friday June 4, Saturday June 5 and Sunday June 6. You decide when you'll be active. Participation is Free!

Donations to support the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA Annual Campaign are being accepted. (Thank you for your support of our Mission.)

Once you complete your Virtual Fun Run/Walk, please email jroyce@cccymca.org with your Race Results and a photo (with race bib, Y logoed gear, a birthday hat, treadmill brand or a landmark from the race route). Please know we will be sharing photos on the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds on Race Weekend.

We are also partnering with GotSneakers? and holding an Athletic Shoe Drive in our YMCAs. GotSneakers? will issue funds for our Annual Campaign in compensation for collected gently worn, used and new sneakers collected. Shoes collected will be distributed to those in need - so that others can Walk/Run comfortably.
