Lace up your sneakers and get ready to walk, run, jog or roll with your fellow Lancers during the second annual #LongwoodTogether Virtual 5K & Mile Race!
As part of the Virtual Alumni Weekend festivities Friday through Sunday, June 4-6, the Lancer community will once again come together to pound the nearest pavement or treadmill. The event is free to enter for all Longwood alumni, students, faculty and staff.
We’ve had an overwhelming response to our #LongwoodTogether virtual race, and the first free 250 commemorative T-shirts have been claimed. But don’t despair. You can still run in style by purchasing one for yourself or for the entire family. Shirts are only $20 (shipping included!) and come in both adult and youth sizes. Your purchase of the #LongwoodTogether T-shirt supports the Longwood Together Fund. Order by May 14 to ensure you look your Longwood best over Virtual Alumni Weekend!
Simply sign up on the registration page, plan your own 5K or mile course, complete your race any time from Friday, June 4, through 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, and report your results online. It’s easy to participate and no advanced preparation is needed, other than a good stretch and warm up on race day—post a photo of yourself with the hashtag #LongwoodTogether at the starting or finish line!
