Event Description
Vinland Elementary PTSA presents the 2024 Fins to the Finish 5K family fun run on Saturday April 27, 2024. 5K fun run/walk and Kids dash. T-shirts will be available to purchase through this sign up link for $12 (including tax). This is not a drop off event. However, if you are unable to run the race with your child, consider forming a group of friends that can run or walk the race together. At least one adult must accompany every group of children on the course.
In an effort to keep our runners and families safe, please leave your dogs at home (they are not legally allowed on the Vinland Elementary field). Strollers are welcome, but please no bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller skates, etc.
Race Bibs and T-shirt Pick Up: Race bibs and t-shirts will be available to pick up the morning of the run. We will have volunteers ready to assist you starting at 7:30am.
Parking: Parking will be available in both sides of the Vinland Elementary Parking lot. For the safety of all runners, parking lots will close at 8:45am.
5K (3.1 mile run): Starts promptly at 9:00am. We will not be timing the event, so if this is important to you, please wear your own timing device. Course has been approved by the City of Poulsbo and will be along the sidewalks of neighborhoods surrounding the elementary school. This is an open road course and is subject to being shortened pending the sidewalk construction near the new community North of the School.

- Top three finishers from each grade (boy and girl), will be given medals. All finishers will receive a participation ribbon.

- Best Costume
- Best Hat
- Most School Pride
Kids Dash: 10:30 on the Vinland field. All ages welcome, we will have a race for pre-k and under and all school age. Top three ribbons will be given to the pre-k and under group.
