The Grace Sheer Scholarship Fund will provide a scholarships for 1 female athlete at Dawsonville County High School who exemplifies Grace through her work ethic, kindness, and dedication to not only athletics, but also academically and with her outstanding character.

Grace Sheer was a lifelong resident of Dawson County, Georgia. Grace attended Dawson County High School from 2014 to 2018 and throughout her high school career, she played on the Women’s Soccer Team. Grace was passionate about and completely dedicated to soccer, having played since she was a small child. In high school, Grace was also a member of the Chamber Singers, the Interact Club, and the National Spanish Honors Society, and she planned on attending Kennesaw State University for college. Grace loved art, music and animals, especially her dog, Finn. Most importantly, though, Grace was a kind soul. Her positive attitude and kind words could make any of her classmates’ day a little brighter. Additionally, Grace was fiercely loyal to and unquestionably loved her family and friends. Each and every day that Grace was with us, she demonstrated the true meaning of good character.
