Event Description

Join us on Saturday, July 3rd in St. Marys , GA for53rd Annual Independence Day Festival 5K & 10K Run.  Proceeds from the race will benefit Kiwanis Programs and the Camden Community Family Center.

Start Format: 8:00 a.m.  5K runners will be self seeded and begin from  the START/FINISH ARCH. Over All awards will be based off of Gun Time.  We ask only the ELITE RUNNERS going for the win, to toe off first at the start line.  To allow for social distancing, all age group awards will be based off chip time.  There is no need to stand crowded at the start line.  Runners can maintain social distancing while waiting in our start area and start in a time trail format.  If you are not comfortable with this start format, late starts will be allowed until 8:15 a.m.  

We ask that all runners wear a face mask during packet pickup / check in, and that you practice social distancing at all times during the event.  Runners do not need to wear masks while racing.

The event will be professionally chip timed by Second Wind Race Timing.
