Event Description

The purpose of the VSAP Series Organization is to raise awareness for Veteran Suicide and also by supporting organizations that provide Veteran Suicide Prevention resources or services. We also encourage and facilitate fitness activities. This running race is a part of a three event series which also includes a 2.2 mile swim and a bike ride from mountain to coast.

For the run phase of the VSAP event series, you will have a choice to run 22 miles, 22 K, or 2.2 mile ruck through the rural scenic towns of Eastover and Wade. Look forward to not being in a city setting but instead enjoy a vast array of farmland, green pastures, and plenty of livestock.

Upon finishing the races, you will have several food trucks to choose from. Both 22 mile and 22 K participants will have a slice of pizza and a cold beverage on us. 

At the finish, you will also be greeted by our photographer. Those photos will be uploaded to this site within a few days and be searchable by bib number so be sure to wear your bib in the front so that we can pick those up and categorize them for you.
