Event Description

This will be the inaugural running of the “I Thought Turkeys Could Fly” 5k. The proceeds this year will benefit the Harnett Area Running Club as we try to make the transition from an informal group to a nonprofit running club.  The proposed route will begin and end on North General Lee Ave by Tyler Park in Dunn, NC. The course is flat and fast with only 56 ft of elevation change and a downhill finish. The race is scheduled for Saturday November 13, 2021. The race will start at 9:00 a.m. and will be chip timed. Registration will be available on runsignup beginning 7/1/21.
