Event Description

Refuge for Women Pittsburgh invites you to join us on our Run for Refuge!  

Our Run for Refuge fundraiser will include a 5K Race that starts at 9:00 a.m. and a 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk at 10:30 a.m.  

Other activities include prize giveaways, a raffle, putt-putt golf, and food trucks!  

All proceeds will go towards the purchase of the Refuge for Women Pittsburgh Emergency House opening in 2021.

About Refuge for Women Pittsburgh Emergency Housing

The Emergency Housing program of Refuge for Women was established to provide temporary shelter to women who are either survivors, or at risk, of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, violence, and assault, and to provide them with access to multi-sector services. As the words emergency indicates, the shelters offer immediate and free, safe housing for adult women.
