Event Description

It's back! Come join the fun and run a half or quarter marathon on the Towpath Trail along the Maumee River. Both courses start at Providence Park across the river from Grand Rapids, OH, head out on the towpath, and then return to end at the beautiful Providence Dam and Dam Shelter. You'll enjoy the flat, fine crushed gravel and dirt course on the towpath, lots of shade and wildlife, scenic views of the river, and the historic canal locks and grain mill at the park. Hang around by the dam after the race or head across the river to Grand Rapids to shop for antiques and unique gifts, get some ice cream and/or lunch, rent a kayak, or even do some fishing.

PACKET PICK-UP: At this time due to Lucas County Health Department and Toledo Metropark Covid-19 requirements, packet pick-up will only be at Second Sole running store in Levis Commons Shopping Center in Perrysburg, OH (4130 Levis Commons Blvd, Perrysburg, OH 43551) on Friday July 23 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. and Saturday July 24 from noon-5:00 p.m. 

Also due to similar requirements, the total number of entries is limited to 150.
