Event Description

The Chick-fil-A Family Run Fest will take place on October 9, 2021 at Sherando Park.  Our race will benefit Children's National Hospital.  Children’s National Health System is the only hospital in the Washington, DC, area with a rapid air and ground transport system dedicated exclusively for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. Children's National highly specialized pediatric and neonatal transport team transports more than 5,000 neonates and children each year.

The CFA Family Run Fest will feature a 5k, Kid's Mile and 100 Yard Dash.  Something for the whole family!

5k race will begin on the North Side of the Park where the Mountain Bike trails begin. Race will start at Soccer fields 6 and 7 and wind through the hard-cap surface along Warrior Drive into the back of Musket Ridge neighborhood and back.  Kid's Mile will begin along soccer fields 6 and 7 with the Dash taking place on the Soccer fields.  

5k will begin at 8:30 am, Kid's Mile and Dash directly after with an awards ceremony concluding the event.  

Packet pick up and registration will begin at 7am on the Soccer fields.  

Included in race entry fee will be goodie bag and t-shirt.  Shirts are guaranteed to the first 225 registrants.
