Event Description
Join us on Saturday, July 31st, 2021 at 6pm and show your pride at the inaugural Rainbow Run 5K Run/Walk in Lexington!
Our race directly raises funds for the LEXINGTON PRIDE FESTIVAL this coming September and is presented by the Pride Community Services Organization (PCSO). The PCSO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Lexington, KY, that strives to improve the quality of LGBTQIA+ individuals’ lives in Central and Eastern Kentucky.
RACE FEATURES:
- Flat/fast course at scenic Coldstream Park
- Awards presented for top finishers
- Commemorative unisex sized T-shirts (Sizes S-4XL)
- Chip-timing (Thanks, RaceRise)
- Good music, fun, and friendship
For those who do not wish to or are not able to join us in person, we have a VIRTUAL OPTION. For a $30 donation, we will mail your commemorative t-shirt and bib so you can run/walk on your own schedule in support of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Before the race, stop on over at North Lime Coffee & Donuts to fuel up on their Tie-Dye donut. For each Tie-Dye donut sold, a portion of the sales will be donated to the Rainbow Run 5K.
Packet Pickup plans are not finalized. Details will be announced closer to the race in July.
