Event Description

The Pre-Med American Medical Student Association (Pre-Med AMSA) chapter at the University of South Florida is a proud supporter of the Florida Autism Center of Excellence (F.A.C.E.). F.A.C.E. is based in Tampa and collaborates with local school districts to provide educational solutions for children and young adults with autism spectrum disorders as well as resources and support for their families.

In an effort to raise money and awareness towards autism and related disorders, Pre-Med AMSA will be hosting a "Race for F.A.C.E." 5k from 10am-2pm on March 25th, 2017. The event will be a splash 5k with snacks and beverages, so come prepared to have fun while being sprayed with water!

Even though the event is called "Race for F.A.C.E." it will not be a race. There will not be a time clock or any placement awards. This is just a perfect reason for you to come and have fun with members of the PAMSA, F.A.C.E., and USF community. All proceeds raised will go to the Florida Autism Center of Excellence.
