Event Description
Did you know that there were multiple individuals in Rock Ridge who lost more than 20 pounds over the last 6 months? Thanks to the Boulders to Pebbles challenge and some local friendly competition, these individuals persevered through lock down binges to come out slimmer. Let's tip our running shoes to these fine folks by running a race in their honor.
Speaking of local friendly competition, we will also host an in person 5K (Run/Walk), Kids Race and Awards Celebration, for these slimmer RRCC individuals. If you come out early enough to watch the race you may catch a glimpse of the greatest rivalry in local virtual race competition - Kolk vs. Cunningham (Like Frazer vs. Ali only better). It is bound to be a race for the ages as we explore a new course and have our 2nd ever in person RRCC 5K.
We will also have a shorter race for our shorter offspring that is bound to be a great time. Will have door prizes for all entrants, awards for top finishers and something for all the kids who sign up as well.
Schedule of Events(Location):
- 9AM - 5K (Run/Walk) Start - RRCC Ballfield Start/End in Front of Clubhouse
- 10AM - Kids Race
- 10:30AM - Awards Ceremony (Boulders to Pebbles and Race Awards) - RRCC Beach/Tiki Bar
5K race/walk will start at 9AM sharp in front of the Rock Ridge Ball field. Kids race will start at ~10AM before the Boulders to Pebbles Award celebration begins on the Rock Ridge Beach.
