Event Description
Our 4th annual Beach Run is completely on the white SAND of Florida and Alabama along the beautiful Gulf of Mexico!
100% of the registration fees of this half marathon and 5k will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation ensures full scholarship grants as well as educational and family counseling to the surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty, and immediate financial assistance for severely wounded personnel and their families.
Join us in paying special tribute to one of the fallen and their family during a ceremony at the awards.
Everyone who participates in the half marathon will receive a completion medal in addition to receiving awards in overall and age categories. 5K run or walk participants will also receive awards in overall and age categories.
After the race stay with us for a great selection of food, beer, and live entertainment!
Can't join us in person for this great event, but want to be included? Sign up as a virtual runner & still support Special Operations Warrior Foundation. You will receive a Virtual Completion Certificate and your souvenir shirt by mail (up to the first 400 participants).

Event details and schedule
The half marathon run starts at 7:30 AM heading east into Florida for 10.5k then turning around ending back at the Flora-Bama Lounge.
The 5k run or walk begins at 9:00 AM with the course heading into Alabama for 2.5k then turning around ending back at the Flora-Bama Lounge.
Packet pick-up and last minute registration is held in the Flora-Bama Tent:
Friday, March 24th from 4 PM - 7 PM for all participants.
On race day:
Saturday, March 25th
6 AM - 7 AM for the Half marathon
7:30 AM - 8:30 AM for the 5K runners & walkers
No packet pick-up after race begins. Awards will begin after the 3.5 hours of alloted time.

We welcome back Results Event Timing for this year's race!
Water stations will be set up at every mile along the course by volunteers from NAS Pensacola Area Chief Petty Officer Association & Alabama Credit Union.
