Event Description

Join us for our 2nd Annual Mad Moose 5K & Half Marathon.

Last year's covid event was a huge success and a ton of fun. This year's will even be better as new options are available that were prohibited last year. 

As in the past, 100% of all funds raised through donations and profits from the race are going to our Precious Warriors Foundation. With every registration we will be able to make a bigger impact in our community helping children facing medical barriers.

Event details and schedule

The Mad Moose – Half Marathon / 5k.

We will be implementing an open start from 7:30 am - 9:00 am.

When you arrive you can head right out on the course.

The race will start and finish at Deerfield Park Smithfield, RI. The half marathon course is set in the countryside with limited traffic. The course is certified by the USATF.

RACE INFORMATION:

The half marathon is a little hilly. The good thing is that the last 2 miles are downhill or flat. The 5k is a little hilly with a downhill finish

• The race will be chipped timed by Second Wind Timing.

• All online registrants will receive a T-Shirt and a 4" Finishers Medal.

• There will be a 4 hour time limit for the half marathon.

COURSE RESOURCES:

There will be 7 water station on the half course and 3 Gatorade stations. I water stop on the 5k

AWARDS:

All participants will receive a medal. 

Trophies for the overall male/female in the half and 5k

Packet pick up: Packet pick up is Saturday September 25, 2021 at the Seekonk ymca from 8am-11am and race day starting at 7am
