ABOUT THE ROBINSON PRESERVE

The 637 acre preserve contains 6 miles of kayak and canoeing trails, 12 acres of open water, 56 acres of marshland, 20 acres of uplands, 2 docks, a 500' boardwalk on the course, 6 flat bridges, 10 miles of coastal, 7 miles of shell jogging trails, 2 miles of paved tails, fishing piers, observation tower, bird observation loactions! The Robinson Preserve 5K & 10K offers an authentic coastal Florida experince through a remarkable restoration and conservation property. If you are looking for a challenging and eye opening event this is it. It is not uncommon to see Eagles nesting and other birds, jumping fish, unbelievable vistas while running over the several boardwalk bridges. There are over 110 colorful directional signs and (18) course marshals to spirit you along.

There are five race coralls based on your estimated (5K) finish time so you can run at your pace without interuptions. You will finish to the famous Fit2Run after party featuring catered food, refreshments, live music, and adult beverages (with proper I.D.) Crafted awards including ($1,250) in prize money distributed to top three M/F finishers in each race.

Funds generated from the 8th Annual Robinson Preserve race go to the continuing mangement and improvement at Robinson Preserve, NW Bradenton's largest conservation property and F.E.L.T. Feeding Empty Little Tummies a backpack program designed to meet the beeds of Manatee County's homeless children during the weekendsl 

Event details and schedule

Free parking is available before the Palma Sola property on 99th Street and in sub divisions on 99th. Shuttle buses are running continueous. There will be a parcel drop at the FELT tent by the Valentine House
