Virtual Run, Roll & Stroll for Kids in Motion Therapy Clinic!

How does this Virtual Race Work? 

Each participant:

• Chooses a distance to complete (5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, Marathon)
• Chooses how to complete the distance (walk, jog, run, bike, skate, scooter, wheelchair, etc.)
• Choose how long to take to complete the distance (1 day, 2 days, a week, etc.)
• Must complete the distance between August 7 and August 28, 2021
• Upload your Race Results using the Results tab on this page

• Support children with special needs
• Be creative
• Have fun

Who is Kids in Motion Therapy Clinic?

The mission of Kids in Motion Therapy Clinic is to provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy for the children of Whatcom County and surrounding areas who have neurodevelopmental disorders. Kids in Motion is a 501(c)(3) organization offering home based and clinic based therapy services to support the development of successful strategies for daily living. Children receive quality intervention and caregivers are empowered to help children meet developmental milestones

Awesome!! Here's all the details for the Kids in Motion Run, Roll and Stroll . . . 

Register: Click the Sign Up button at the top of the page.

Race Date: Any day(s) between August 7 & 28th, 2021 

Distance: Complete the goal of your choice- 5k, 10k, full or half marathon. **Be sure to come back to post your pics and tag us on social media!  @kidsinmotiontherapyclinic #KidsInMotionTherapyClinic

Location: Anywhere you choose! Your local neighborhood, park, mall, school track, hiking trails, around the rooms in your house. Opportunities are endless!

Cost: $30 (+ processing fee)

Race Kit/Purchase Includes: 1 race entry, custom tech t-shirt, custom finisher medal, charitable donation, & a digital coupon book. Free Bonus: a playlist of songs created by one of our Kids in Motion team members!

Key Dates:

• Kick off “Party” : August 7th via Facebook Live or Zoom (Link to be sent out closer to date) 
• Complete the Virtual Run, Roll and Stroll August 7-28
• Wrap up "Party" : August 28th via Facebook Live for Zoom (Link to be sent out closer to date) 
• September 2021: Receive your Race Kit with T-shirt and Medal

Participants: Veteran Runners, newbies, fundraisers, fans, etc. All ages! You choose your Virtual Challenge Companions (do you have an iguana? Cat? Horse? Another animal that enjoys running, rolling or strolling)?
