Event Description
The 33rd Annual Patron Event for Center Place Fine Arts has moved to an all new larger venue. We will host our Paint the Town Color Run 5K/Color Walk at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds. This location has wide paths that curve and twist around natural wooded trails with a slight incline. Enjoy running on a variety of different terrains including dirt paths, asphalt and grass. At the finish line there will be free fun art activities, a free children’s obstacle course, raffle baskets and buy it now gift baskets. All proceeds benefit children’s art programming. Center Place Fine Arts is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Your donation may be tax deductible.

Paint the Town 5K Color Run Information:
5K Day of Race Registration begins at 7:00 am. Paint the Town 5K Color Run start time 8:00 am. This is a CHIPPED timed event. Ribbons & Prizes will be awarded to the 3 Fastest Times in 3 Categories: Men, Women and Children.
T-shirts will be given to all who pre-register by 3/6/17.
Paint the Town Family Fun Color Walk Information:
Paint the Town Family Fun Color Walk Day of Registration will begin at 9:00 am. The walk will begin at 10:00 am.

Can I Register on Race Day?
Early registration is encouraged, but you can register on race morning.
Remember if you Pre-Register for the “5k” you get a free race shirt! Additional race entry fees will apply.
Registration for the race begins at 7:00 am day of, there will be a separate line for those who have pre-registered to pick up their packets.
When can I pick up my packet?
Early Packet pick up is encouraged. Thursday, March 30 Noon-7pm
Where: Center Place Fine Arts, 619 Vonderburg Drive, Suite B, Brandon, FL 33511 (adjacent to the Brandon Regional Library)
Buy It Now Gift Baskets will also be available during early packet pick up.
Are Jogging Strollers Allowed?
Due to our U.S. Track and Field insurance policy, jogging strollers are not permitted to run in the race, but we welcome all strollers to walk the Family Fun Walk. We do ask that strollers line up near the end of the walk.
Do I need to register my child if they are in a stroller or wagon?
Yes, IF they are under the age of 3 and will be participating in the Family Fun Walk. Please register ages 3-9 over the phone at 813-685-8888.
What time should I get there on race day?
Participants are encouraged to arrive early – by 7 a.m. to pick up their race packets and get ready to run! Participants for the Family Fun Walk are encouraged to arrive by 9 a.m.
Can I bring my Pet?
No pets are allowed.
Where should I park?
The Hillsborough County fairgrounds has designated parking areas.
What happens if it rains?
The race will happen, rain or shine. Race Directors reserve the right to cancel in severe weather conditions.

What should I bring?
This is a color run and walk! Center Place is not responsible for any damage to clothing, shoes, strollers or any person or belonging that comes in contact with any color. It is recommended to wear appropriate "old" clothing or bring protection for items that may come in contact with color.
