Event Description

Come join us for an In-Person or Virtual road race to help support the Osterville Village Library. We are doing our best to adapt to new guidelines and present a safe, fun, in-person race. The in-person race will take place on Village Day, July 17th. The race will start in front of the Library at 43 Wianno Avenue. We will have staggered starts beginning at 7:30 AM. There will be water available before and after the race, but not along the route. Runners are responsible to self hydrate along race route.
To see the route visit our Strava Page.
No pets will be allowed during the in-person race.
There will also not be a separate children's in person race this year. Kids can run virtually and receive a medal.
Race results will be available by email and QR codes after race. There will be no medal ceremony or gathering after race.
We are thrilled that we can bring you an in person race with such short notice, while following the guidelines set up by local health dept. and the insurance company.

About the Osterville Village Library - For 138 years the Osterville Village Library has served at the heart of this community The unfortunate side of the pandemic for the Library is the fact that our fundraising events have suffered. While we understand these are unprecedented times, the loss of revenue comes at a time when we have never offered more to the community at large. The Osterville library has been continually open since June of 2020, we are the heart of the community that never skipped a beat! Watch our video on how we served the community during the pandemic.
