Event Description

Sisters Stronger Together was birthed from two women's desire to bring awareness to Sickle Cell and Breast Cancer.  Both of us, perosnally affected by either Sickle Cell or Breast Cancer, decided to make an annual committment to ensure that we support organizations that make awareness a priority!

Please join us for our Inaugural Sisters Stronger Together 5k as we support Piedmont Health Services & Sickle Cell Agency and Go Jen Go and their efforts to bring awareness to two causes we hold near and dear to our hearts!  

This virtual 5k event will take place between Saturday, September 25, 2021 and Sunday, October 10, 2021.  You choose the time and location that works best for you!  Walk, run or bike your 3.1 miles....YOU CHOOSE! 

Each registrant will recive a race packet that includes a bib, t-shirt and race medal.   If you are located in the Charlotte, NC area, you will be able to personally pick up your race packets during our race packet pick up event.  We will mail race packets to those who are not local and have chosen that option during check out.  

****The Race Packet Pickup Event is currently scheduled for Saturday, September 18th at Latta Park in Charlotte, NC from 10am - 2pm.  Additional information will be sent to registrants.****  

We are extremely excited about this inauguaral 5k and hope you will choose to support us by registering and participating in this event!  All proceeds will be split evenly and go to Piedmont Health Services & Sickle Cell Agency and Go Jen Go!
