Event Description

Run the Race 5K is a faith based fun run for Christians to fellowship and worship while improving their fitness. Runners and walkers of all skill levels are welcomed! Easter weekend is the perfect opportunity for you and your family to renew their strength in the Lord both physically and spiritually.

“…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not be faint.” –Isaiah 40:31

All runners will receive a finisher's medal, t-shirt, goody bag, and mystery gift!

In addition to the race, there will be a DJ, pre-race motivational prayer, in-race motivational posters, and a post-race stretching session! We are committed to merging faith and fitness because we know that, "All things are possible through Christ!"

Course: The race course weaves through the Seminole County Softball complex and follows the scenic Seminole/Wekiva Trail in Altamonte Springs. This course is flat, paved, and heavily shaded. Water will be provided at various points throughout the race.

Swag: All runners will receive a t-shirt, finisher's medal, goody bag, and mystery gift!

*Awards will be given to the top three male and female racers!

**One lucky, randomly selected runner will receive "Super Swag," which is a gift worth more than the cost of entry!

Free, healthy post-race snacks and drinks will be provided to all runners following the race.

The church with the most registered members will receive a donation from JohnJohn Sports!!! Just create a team for your church on the registration site and have church members join your team. Leader updates will be periodically sent out via email.
