Event Description

Emory University's Remote Area Medical chapter will be holding its second Run for Your Life! 5k June 27th through July 4th. The goal of this fundraiser is to help raise money to hold a rural health clinic in Louisville, Georgia in Fall 2021. This is a grassroots, student-led, and student-run initiative to provide free medical, dental, and vision services to medically underserved communities. Remote Area Medical™ is a major nonprofit operator of pop-up clinics that delivers free high-quality dental, vision, and medical services to underserved and uninsured individuals. With your participation and donations, we will get closer to reaching our financial goals to host a clinic in a rural Georgia community next year.
