Event Description

Downtown Wichita Falls Development host the 3rd annual Hotter'n Ale 0.5K. No, not a another 5K, a 0.5K on Saturday, August 28. 

How far is a 0.5K? 0.5K = 0.3 miles = 1,640.42 feet = 19,685 inches

There will also be a free block party that will be open to all ages that evening. Activities include yard games (i.e. corn hole and ladder golf), contests such as best calves, a DJ, and more.

Runners are encouraged to dress in their favorite 90's trends. They will be lead by their "coaches" to 5 local establishments in downtown Wichita Falls. Each location is offering a serving of food or spirit with registration. Must be 21+ to register.

The event is an effort to bring together those visiting Wichita Falls for Hotter'N Hell Hundred with the residents of Wichita Falls.

REGISTRATION: (registrations opens July 1)
Hotter'n Ale has a limited capacity due to occupancy at the participating rest stops. The "run" will be split into 4 waves. Coordinate with your fellow underachievers to be in the same wave. MUST BE 21+ TO REGISTER.

For an additional $15 you will receive the above but can also hop on the trolley and zoom past all the "runners" in your special VLP t-shirt. 

Proceeds benefit Downtown Wichita Falls Development, a 501(c)3 non profit, and their downtown revitalization efforts.
