Celebrate the fall colors and changing seasons with a trail run through Secor and Wiregrass Metroparks!! There will be two distances - an 8 mile race and a "5K" (actually a 5.4K). Both races start at Secor Metropark on the all-purpose trail. Runners in the 8 miler will start adjacent to the Secor Room at Secor Park, follow the all-purpose trail counter-clockwise, connect to the Moseley Trail and follow it to Wiregrass Lake, then do a loop around the lake and return on the Moseley and all-purpose trails to the finish at the Secor Room. Runners in the "5K" will run one loop of the "long version" of the Secor park all-purpose trail. Both courses are flat and non-technical. Walkers are welcome in the "5K".
There will be no race day registration. Registration must be received by October 10th to guarantee a shirt.
Packet pick-up: (1) at Second Sole: Friday, October 23rd (noon-8 p.m.), Saturday, October 24th (10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) and the morning of the event until 8:45 a.m.
