Event Description

JOIN US for the 6th Annual BarkVille Dog Rescue's Race for their Lives 5K on Saturday, September 18, 2021 @ 8:00am.  

BarkVille Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. We envision a compasssionate world where all dogs reside in responsible, loving homes. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and will receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment that is needed.  The dogs are then placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement into their permanent home.  Our group remains comitted to the welfare of the dogs beyond the adoption process.

Event details and schedule

COURSE:

The course will start from the bus lanes at Denmark High School and continues out to Mullinax Road.  Takes Mullinax Road towards highway 9 then u-turns onto multipurpose path.  Then returns back to the finish line in the bus lanes.  Course is relatively flat and fast.

5K - 8:00am

RACE DAY REGISTRATION:

Race day registration will take place at Denmark High School in front of the bus lanes beginning at 6:00am. 

PACKET PICK-UP:

Early Pick-Up -You can pick up your race packet on Friday, Sept. 17th at Big Peach Running from 3:30 pm to 7 pm.

T-SHIRTS:

All pre-registered participants are guarenteed a race t-shirt if registered by September 4th.

AWARDS: 

Overall Male/Female, Age Groups: 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and Up.

Well behaved dogs that are people and dog friendly are welcome to join you for this 5K!  We will have waterbowls, Oops bags and treats from some of our sponsors for your pooch.
