Event Description

A fun Thanksgiving morning race that has become a family tradition for families in the Saginaw Valley Area. The 5k course is a single loop on a beautiful wooded trail along the scenic Tittabawassee River. The 1m Youth Run is a Single loop in the back of the park.

Cost: Get your morning run in for just $15 with a shirt or $5 without a shirt by registering by 11/1 to be guaranteed a shirt. After 11/1 shirts are not guarantee and the cost goes up to $10 per participant after 11/1. Race day registration will take place from 8:00 - 9:00 am. Once again this year the shirts will be a long sleeve moisture wicking shirt. 

Race Day Registration / Bib # pick up begins at 8:00am
1 mile youth (k-8th) trail run is at 9:00am
5K trail run and walk ~ 9:20am

No frills, no age group awards, but an accurately measured course, a timed race with results and custom finisher medals to the top 5 finishers per gender in each race.

Once again this year the overall 5k run champion will receive a frozen turkey. In addition the individual male and female winners of the 5k Run, 5k Walk and 1 Mile Run will each receive either a pumpkin or apple pie.

Come dressed in Thanksgiving costume for extra fun... rumor has it there will be at least one big turkey!

ALL proceeds benefit the Hawks Running Club LLC, which supports the youth running movement in the Saginaw Township Area.
