Event Description

Get ready, get set and pedal to cure cancer at the 9th Annual Tour de Pier, a unique fundraising event that brings stationary cycling to the gorgeous outdoors of Manhattan Beach. Our mantra is “Ride in place. Move charity forward.” Stationary bikes line the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand in a large open-air event space overlooking the Manhattan Beach Pier, the white sandy beaches and the Pacific Ocean. The area’s best instructors and celebrity guests will spin riders through five 50-minute sessions with energizing music and loads of excitement. In addition to cycling, there will be a free Health & Fitness Expo. Registration fee is $50 per rider with an additional $100 fundraising commitment; each bike must have 5 riders and raise a total of $750. The award-winning event benefits the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
