Event Description

The St. John Sunset Run is celebrating 34 years and returns to the original course after the construction of a new Sunset Avenue bridge!  This sunset race will follow the shore line of Bayou Grande in the Navy Point neighborhood and finish at St. John School.  Shirts for the first 700 entrants and medals three deep for place finishers.  Authentic Cinco de Mayo food available with music at the post-race festivities.  This is a family friendly event and a Pensacola tradition!  

Event details and schedule

Packet pickup is Friday, May 12th from 4-6:00 pm and Sat., May 13th from 3:00 to race time (5:30 pm).  Parking available at Warrington Baptist Church at Winthrop and Valencia Streets.  ID required for beer concession. Race begins at 5:30 pm.   Course closes sixty minutes after 5k start.  Walkers have a two minute delayed start.  Fun Run to begin approx. 6:30 pm.
