Shuffle up and Run! Join us as the BEE Daring Foundation teams up with the Arizona Coyotes for our first annual, Desert Valley Poker Classic 5k Walk/Run, in memory of Mike DiMuria, our CEO's uncle who she tragically lost in 2017. Whether you’re a first time runner, or someone who loves to compete, this race is for you! Grab your running shoes and let's have some fun as we change the conversation about mental health! Join us as we bring awareness to this much needed topic.

Did you know, according to the World Health Organization, one in four people in the world will be affected by mental or neurological disorders at some point in their lives? Around 450 million people currently suffer from such conditions, placing mental disorders among the leading causes of ill-health and disability worldwide.

“In person DVPC 5K Walk/Run - Join us on Saturday, December 18, 2021, for a 5k course that starts and ends Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, AZ near Gila River Arena! We will be hosting the 5k walk/run, followed by an after-party and future access to a select Coyotes home game in the 2021-22 regular season!” 

SPECIAL GIVEAWAY: The first 100 people who register between July 1st and September 1st are entered to win "two lower level half season/weekender seats for the Coyotes 2021-22 season, section 104 Row Q."

Safety is our #1 priority. We will be respecting all COVID-19 safety guidelines as outlined by the CDC and our local health department at the time of the race.

Let's join forces and change the perception about mental health, all while having a little fun before the holiday season. Come watch our very own CEO dance live for the first time in public with her esteemed partner JT Pells. From meeting new people, to creating lasting memories within our community, to bringing joy to someone who might be struggling by providing a toy for our toy drive, or even just writing a simple note to someone reminding them they are not alone, together we can make a difference. It will be a day filled with fun, entertainment and more!
