Event Description

Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration will be hosting their Annual 5K/10K Run and 24th Annual Walk & Roll in Griffith Park on Sunday, September 12, 2021.  Registration begins at 6:00am. Run begins at 7:00am. Stage Ceremony begins at 8:00am. Walk & Roll follows at 8:30am. 

All proceeds benefit Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration, an international non-profit dedicated to fostering social inclusion for children with disabilities through inclusive playgrounds and educational programs that unite children of ALL abilities. 

Enjoy a run through beautiful Griffith Park. This event features:

6:00 am - Registration Opens - Check-In

6:45 am - Warm-up for Run

7:00am – 5K/10K Run Begins, Free Resource Fair, Raffle & Refreshments Opens

8:00am - Stage Ceremony with Grand Marshal & Founders

8:30am - Walk & Roll begins

9:00 am - Post-Event Festivities & Picnic Begins

9:30 am - Ribbon Cutting for Bankshot Basketball Court

10:00 am - Stage Entertainment

10:30 am - Closing Ceremonies

EVENT PARKING: Upon entering Griffith Park, please follow the signs to the Merry-Go-Round. Park in Merry-Go-Round Parking Lots. You will see Shane’s Inspiration signs.

WAIVERS: If you sign up on Active, please sign online waivers or be sure to sign one upon arrival.

WHAT TO BRING: If you do any fundraising for Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration, please bring donations with you and turn in at registration. Thank you.

WHAT TO WEAR: Running apparel. 

FESTIVITIES: Please allow time to enjoy our free Exhibition Fair, Raffle, Refreshments, and Stage Ceremony with our Grand Marshal.
