Event Description

The annual Teal Ribbon 5k Run and 3K family fun walk for ovarian cancer research, awareness and local support is held at Lewis Park in Minoa, NY.  Hope for Heather is an IRS 501(c)3, 100% volunteer organization. This means 100% of the net registration proceeds and 100% of fundraising dollars goes to the cause. We are passionate about spreading awareness on ovarian cancer and funding research to improve outcomes and save lives.
Every registrant has the option to select an event shirt as long as the registration is received by September 13th.
Prizes for individual fundraisers that raise $250 or $500. Certificates for the top 3 runners in each age group.   

Certified 5K Course with Electronic Chip Timing:
-- The course is designed for Personal Best Time (PBT) - no exhausting hills
-- Fewer corners, long level straight sections, asphalt course, no traffic
-- Cool fall morning temperatures are perfect for your PBT
-- After race activities:
-- Team awards
-- Awards for top individual fund raisers that raise $250 or $500
-- Awards for the top male and female finishers in each age group
-- Each Adult Bib enables Free Slice of Pizza or Draft beer (at Trappers II)
Early packet pickup will be on Thursday September 23rd from 4 to 7 PM. Location TBA check the website: tealribbonrun.org for location. 
Day of event registration ($40) check-in and packet pickup will be Saturday Sept 25th from 8:30 to 9:30AM
