Event Description

The SECOND annual Naked Feet 5k takes place on the beautiful sandy beaches of Fort Lauderdale Beach. 

The 5K course is entirely in the SAND.  It is a nice out and back course that turns around at the jetty by Port Everglades.  The ocean breeze will be at your side and the open water there for a cooldown after the event.  The beauty of this course is that there is no street to cross no tracks to navigate only a leg strengthening sand!!  Come enjoy running in a truly natural environment.  Place awards are given only to those who complete the distance un "shod". (shoeless)

It is the first event of this kind in our area embracing the road AND trail running elements in ONE event.

Runners /walker striathletes /old and young will all love this new challenge to the 5K distance.

PACKET PICK UP DETAIL UPDATE!

September 16th Race Day will serve for both Registration AND Packet Pick Up 7:00 am

                        Race Begins: 8am

                        Course Closes 10am

Be sure to bring/wear protective clothing/hats/eyewear to mitigate the sun's glare.

Parking by meter and sticker (residents) is available in the lot of the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park.
