Event Description

The Dunedin Half Marathon Celebrating Honeymoon Island along with 10K and 5K distance is our opportunity to showcase Downtown Dunedin to locals and over 18 US states who join us each year! Runners and walkers from around the world travel to Dunedin Florida to experience the best destination town in America! The event showcases our downtown Dunedin district and honors Honeymoon Island.

Be sure to see all of the details below and we'll see you in Dunedin November 4, 2017. Please book hotels stays early as we very carefully scheduled this race to showcase the Annual Art Harvest event and we want each of you to stay as close to downtown as POSSIBLE!

I know many of you ask for race map but the course is entirely on the paved shady and beautiful Pinellas County Trail so it is stroller-friendly and good for all ages. Please note we understand that the price goes very high as we approach race week so that we can limit registration as a local race management company it is our job to give you a good race experience and limit the number of participants while still being able to cover the budget. We appreciate your hard earned money and if you need a discount to participate please do not hesitate to email us and we will work with you as we never want anyone to miss a race due to finances.

Several have asked if this is a usatf certified course...years ago we made the decision to no longer pay the very high fee to certify a course as most of you wear GPS watches and you will see that each distance is perfectly accurate. The half marathon in Dunedin November 4th is a two-loop course and it will be very well-marked, staffed and explained by our bike lead and logistics team. Of course is fully staffed by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office for your safety.

We hope to see you in Dunedin and remember you are in one of the best home towns in America! Plan to spend the day and take advantage of one of our wonderful restaurants for a late lunch or early dinner to celebrate your amazing accomplishment.
