Event Description

Hey cycling friends, the Sierra Nevada Michael's Bicycles Master Women's Team is having a virtual elevation race for the month of August to raise money for the Tri-Counties Make -A -WISH Foundation of Ventura County, starting August 1st!  Take on the challenge to cycle as much elevation in one month. The race ends August 31st.  

Here's how it works....Join anytime and climb as many feet as you can. Ride with friends or by yourself to conquer your favorite mountain or find new areas to adventure!

After each ride, simply enter your time, distance covered, and most importantly, your total elevation gain.  There will be a race leader board on your elevation gains!

All race donations go to the Make a Wish Tri -Counties of Ventura County.   Two of our team members, Tamara and Debbie, picked this charity because they both have had children that had cancer, and was involved with Make-A-Wish.  Tamara lost her son, John, when he was 5 to Neuroblastoma.  Debbie's daughter, Emma, still battles her cancer, Osteosarcoma bone cancer.  THe event only costs $25.00 and you get a cool graphic t-shirt!   The Sierra Nevada Michael's Bicycles Women's Team are a group of really great women and cyclists...we love to ride our bikes and help others in our community.  We will CONTINUE to support local charities.
