Event Description

This year marks the 20th anniversary of 9/11.  In recognition, the 9/11 remembrance run/walk pays special tribute to all the fallen heroes who paid the ultimate price.  The 5K takes place on the campus of the Museum of Aviation at Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, GA.  The run will be three loops around the Century of Flight Hangar passing several historical aircraft on static display.  At the conclusion of the race, runners will receive their 9/11 coin.  The runners are invited to participate in the 9/11 ceremony sponsored by the 78 ABW First Responders which will be held immediately following the run. Commemorative coins are limited, so register early!

Registration: 0615-0645 (run starts @ 0700)

Wear: comfortable clothes/shoes

Bring: registration form/ID & water

Park: inside gate at Museum of Aviation & follow directions to lot
